PE for Reception is on a Monday and a Thursday in Class 1 and a Monday and a Wednesday in Class 2. Children should come to school on these days in their PE kit and earrings must be removed prior to coming to school, any problems then please speak to the Class Teacher.

Summer term

Children were able to celebrate Fathers day by having a wonderful picnic with their loved ones.

Autumn Term

The children have settled into Reception brilliantly! 

They have loved playing and exploring in all areas of the Reception provision, they have been making new friends and learning lots! 

Our trip to Hartshill Hayes - October 2024

We took a stroll through 'The deep, dark woods!' 

We were very excited to go on our first school trip to the woods! We were looking for signs of Autumn, exploring the different nature in the woods, den building and also searching for The Gruffalo! 

Diwali Celebration! - November 2024

The children took part in a range of learning opportunities to support their learning around the celebration of Diwali. They created salt dough Diya lamps, tasted Indian food, and learnt a Diwali dance. 

Cooking - Design Technology - April 2025

We have had fun making Easter cakes. We had to work hard to mix the melted chocolate with the cereal, but it was worth it! 

The weather was superb for our Easter parade. Everybody had put a lot of time and effort into the Easter bonnets.
