Presentation Evening

The Year 2 children put on a fantastic end of year show, 'Gogglesprogs'.  The children all came across so confident in their different acts, which included X Factor, Britain's Got Talent, I'm A Celebrity, Michael McIntyre and a sketch from Horrid Henry.  The families were brilliant critiques with some very funny comments.  Well done to you all.

After the show the presentation of the children's Record of Achievements took place.  The children also received a Leavers Photobook and a gift made by themselves - a drawing of the school - something to remind them of their happy first years at school.

The final part of the evening was to present the awards for achievements in school.  The Alan Jerrams Award for a girl and boy who have been great Galley Common pupils during their whole time at school, The Margaret Dawson Award for Art, The Deb Brooks Award for Music and the Janet Whitehead Award for Sports.  Three children also received book tokens for attending every single day of their time at Galley Common School - what an acheivement!

We would like to thank our Chair of Governors, Mr Allan Taylor, for presenting the awards and Rev. Barnes for kindly allowing us to use the church hall for the evening.

Well done to everyone - a brilliant evening!
