Online Safety

If you are a parent or carer, we hope you will find this page useful.  If there is an area not covered that you would like support on, please contact Mrs Moynihan in school, who will be pleased to help.

We use online safety resources from Thinkuknow and Project Evolve.  All year groups have seen the relevant age related video and had discussions around the video.  Further activities will take place relating to these.

You can download and watch the videos here https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/jessie-and-friends/

Every  year we have a guest speaker in the school from Cyber Safe Warwickshir

Below is a link to Warwickshire Cyber Safety website, for all the latest cyber crime information, news and safety advice:

We take Online safety very seriously at Galley Common Infant school and run Yearly parents events to support you with your knowledge of Online safety to implant this at home as well.

To support you on your online journey Galley Common Infant school has added some relevant information for parents and carers below.

Please note that being aware and monitoring what your child watches or plays is an important part of keeping children safe from harm.

Make sure that you look at advised ages for games and TV shows and watch them to see if it is suitable for your child.
