We always love this time of year in school, especially harvest time!
Our harvest week started by Class 6 sharing a harvest related assembly with our special visitors.
Reception children made some delicious biscuits, the Year 1 children made lovely buttery scones and the Y2 children made sandwiches. Our guests all went home very full!
The children had also brought in harvest gifts, in return for a non uniform day, and these were shared between the visitors and the local food bank in Nuneaton.
During the assembly the colouring competition winners were also chosen - the teachers were looking for neat colouring, staying in the lines and the correct colours. Well done to our three winners who each won a set of colouring pens and a colouring book.
Finally a raffle was drawn with some lovely harvest prizes.
Thank you to everyone that came and, especially to Class 6, who made it a very special assembly.
